SANDER CAMILLO HACKS UP AT HQ: Sporting Life

Sander Camillo looked a class act when destroying a useful field in the Chippenham Lodge Stud Cherry Hinton Stakes.

The Jeremy Noseda-trained filly was cut to 8-1 from 16-1 for the Stan James 1000 Guineas with William Hill after storming home by five lengths from Alzerra.

She broke quickly for Frankie Dettori but he soon allowed Three Decades to do the donkey work.

However, the 11-8 favourite was back in front over two furlongs out and she quickly stamped her authority on the Group Two contest.

Her rivals were made to look flat-footed as she powered to an impressive victory to add to her success in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Gilded, winner of the Queen Mary Stakes at the Royal meeting, was a neck behind Alzerra in third with Hope’n'charity fourth.

Noseda told Channel Four Racing: “She gave me the feeling that she had moved on from Ascot and she is a very professional filly.
